The Minnesota DNR is seeking public input on a proposal to expand the boundaries of elk Zone 20 by about six miles to the west and three miles to the south. This zone is near Lancaster, near the Canadian border.
Minnesotans may provide input on the proposal until March 30 by contacting Jason Wollin, DNR Karlstad-area wildlife manager. Comments also may be submitted to Barb Keller, the DNR’s big-game program supervisor.
