There are dozens of leased cabins, in various conditions of aging, throughout the state forests in Pennsylvania’s Northern Tier, and those who use them for trout fishing in the spring are just as important to the local economy as deer hunters are in the fall – they’re just not talked about as much as the “deer camp economy.”
