Battle continues in fight to eliminate Eurasian watermilfoil from Iowa’s Okoboji

Eurasian watermilfoil was discovered on Iowa's lower Okoboji chain of lakes late in the summer of 2022. With the help of outside organizations in fundraising efforts, the DNR is now working hard to eliminate the invasive plant that can kill off native vegetation that is important for fish and other underwater species.
