Scarcity of deer in Minnesota means rules need adjustment

I believe the deer aren’t there to begin with. I have dozens of contacts throughout the state, and I often heard, especially from friends in northern Minnesota, that groups of six to 12 hunters in a party would harvest one or two deer during two weekends of the firearms season. Everyone I talked to said they saw more wolves than they did deer.
