Town rejects more duck hunting at New York’s Vischer Ferry Nature & Historic Preserve

A group of waterfowl hunters seeking to expand the duck hunting season at Vischer Ferry Nature & Historic Preserve, on the Mohawk River in Saratoga County have had their request denied by the town supervisor.
Clifton Park Town Supervisor Phil Barret wrote that “we have conducted a sufficient overview of the situation. At this time, the town will not be taking steps to open hunting for the entire season as you have requested."
