The muskie recovery program continues to move forward at Lake Shelbyville.
There have been bumps in the road during the journey. However, with an aggressive team recovery program, cooperative involvement from DNR, the Illinois Natural History Survey, the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, and the Lake Shelbyville Muskie Club, progress seems to be finally evident. Now help and cooperation from anglers fishing Lake Shelbyville is needed to be able to verify or disprove this observation.
