Man cited for using vehicle to intentionally strike three deer near Ely, Minn.

A 20-year-old man has been cited for purposely hitting three deer with his vehicle near Ely, according to DNR Conservation Officer Anthony Bermel. The incident took place on Tuesday, March 21, around 6:45 p.m., near the Ely Golf Course on County Road 21.
Bermel said Casey Meadows, a South Dakota resident who’s currently living in Ely, struck the three deer with his vehicle and continued driving.
