The Koch family apparently did its part to fight invasive carp, reportedly yanking a 42-pound grass carp out of a Cook County lake.
But there is some confusion as to whether or not the fish, which helped the family win the Village of Palos Park’s Spring Fishing Derby, ended up back in Papoose Lake. Like black carp, silver carp and bighead carp, grass carp are an invasive species.
