Michigan DNR budget laid out for Natural Resources Commission

Restricted funds (license sales, park fees, etc.) account for $363.8 million (67%) of the DNR’s budget. Federal funding, including Pittman-Robertson and Dingell-Johnson money, accounts for $100.4 million (19%), $67.9 million (13%) came from the state’s general fund (a 38% increase), and $7.3 million (1%) came from private funding.
