Minnesota’s shotgun zone for deer hunting mostly eliminated in Senate bill
Published: , in Outdoor News
The Senate bill eliminates the shotgun zone with the exception of Olmsted County. This means hunters can use rifles to hunt deer where in the past, the southern zone only allowed shotguns and pistols.
The amendment to eliminate the shotgun zone wasn’t in the House omnibus bill, so it will be a discussion point in conference committee.
