That topic has been explored and dissected for years at deer camps, local watering holes, even barber shops. The bottom line is that some folks think it would be better and others like it the way it is – with the season opening a half-hour before sunrise on Nov. 15 and running through Nov. 30.
With 2023 being a regulation year for whitetail hunting – the regulation cycle is on a three-year rotation – the topic surfaced once again at the Natural Resources Commission meeting earlier this month in Lansing.
