New York, Vermont agencies warn public of potential black bear activity

It could be an interesting summer as far as black bear activity is concerned throughout the Northeast.
The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation recently held a public presentation in Green County called “Living With Bears” in an effort to inform the public on how to avoid conflicts with black bears.
