Commissioner selection process altered slightly in Pennsylvania

The process for a citizen to be chosen to serve on the boards of the Pennsylvania Game and Fish & Boat commissions has been altered slightly.
A recent announcement made by Gov. Josh Shapiro’s administration indicated that the long-standing role of the Governor’s Advisory Council for Hunting, Fishing and Conservation to recommend the most qualified finalists for the governor to pick from to fill commissioner seats will be eliminated.
