The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) has received a $600,000 grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to assess contaminants in fish in several areas of Michigan – with a particular focus on water bodies where youth fishing events have historically or are currently taking place.
