Gov. Mike DeWine called Lake Erie “a high priority” during his short speech at the end of the 43rd annual Governor’s Fish Ohio Day.
That was readily apparent on July 20 when DeWine was joined by ODNR Division of Wildlife personnel, state and federal legislators, Lake Erie charter boat captains, and media for the annual event that highlights the Lake Erie walleye and yellow perch fishery.
