Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Conservation Warden Phil Brown, of Bayfield County, while on patrol noticed something a bit out of the ordinary in the passenger seat of a vehicle.
The odd passenger clearly was not belted in, but then it didn’t have to be. This passenger was one of several small spruce trees that had been pulled from the Brule River State Forest where Brown was patrolling at the time.
