Northeast Ohio’s Findley Lake probably best for channel cats

Not to be confused with the reservoirs of similar name in northwest Ohio, Findley Lake in the northeast is managed for a quality channel catfish fishery.
“It’s pretty much just our basic lake,” said Curt Wagner, fish management supervisor for the ODNR Division of Wildlife in Akron. “It fishes like a big pond, basically your bass, bluegill, catfish situation.”
