The ol' eyeballs went a little big and wide early last week when talking to Jeff Pritzl, the Wisconsin DNR’s statewide deer biologist, about this year’s deer seasons.
Pritzl covered a lot of ground on the topic, but one thing that really shocked this – now feeling very much older – Wisconsin deer hunter was the nugget Pritzl dropped about our average deer hunter’s age. And this information is available thanks to the automated licensing system that collects hunters’ birth dates and ages.
