Western Pennsylvania friends go on 2-year wild-trout quest

When his buddy Mike Munson took up Tenkara fly-fishing in wild-trout streams around his hometown of Jones Mills in Westmoreland County last winter, TJ Platt looked on with interest.
Tenkara is a method of fly- fishing that originated in the mountains of Japan and has now developed into a modern pastime. It uses quite long rods, fixed lengths of casting line attached to the rod-tip and simple, impressionistic wet fly patterns.
