The Oct. 31 passing of Marengo’s Herb Franks was covered widely in local media. I’m sure you’ve seen it. I don’t want to be repetitive, but there are a few things I’d like to mention.
Herb was an extremely close friend. He was famous for his work as an attorney, as a visionary, as a businessman, a Democratic politician, and for simply being a wonderful human being. Oh, by the way, Herb loved fishing.
