What about rifles for fall turkeys?
When the agenda for the Pennsylvania Game Commission’s Jan. 27 meeting was released, it was revealed that the agency planned to increase the length of the fall season in 11 wildlife management units, and bring it back altogether in another. The three-day Thanksgiving portion of the season was also slated for a return in some units.
Some hunters wondered if the move to lengthen the fall season meant that rifles would be brought back into the equation as well.
