New York Department of Environmental Conservation Commissioner Basil Seggos stepping down

New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Commissioner Basil M. Seggos – who has held to position since 2015 – announced he would be stepping down once the state’s budget process is complete this spring. 
POLITICO New York made the announcement Feb. 21, sharing an email Seggos sent to his staff.
