Upper Sioux Agency State Park transfer made official in southwestern Minnesota

Minnesota state and tribal leaders gathered last Friday, March 15, to complete the transfer of Upper Sioux Agency State Park to the Upper Sioux (Dakota) Community.
Legislators voted to transfer the 1,300 acres of state-owned property located southeast of Granite Falls – and Gov. Tim Walz signed the legislation – a year ago.
