Great Lakes agencies sign collaboration agreement

The Great Lakes Commission (GLC), made up of leaders from the eight U.S. states and two Canadian provinces on the Great Lakes, has worked since its inception in 1955 to protect the lakes. On March 6, following its semiannual meeting chaired by Mary Mertz, director of the Ohio DNR, the GLC and the Great Lakes Fishery Commission (GLFC) and International Joint Commission (IJC) signed the first-ever memorandum of understanding (MOU) between them.
