Pennsylvania Game Warden Mike Yeck gets about a dozen calls a year regarding waterfowl with fishing line entangling their feet.
Sometimes it’s multiple calls about the same bird.
“It’s usually geese more than ducks, probably because there are more of them where I patrol,” said Yeck, whose territory in Beaver County includes the Ohio and Beaver rivers and a few lakes stocked with trout in county parks.
