The bill repeals the prohibition on Sunday hunting, and it recently passed the House Game and Fisheries Committee, paving the way for a floor vote. In committee, every Democrat member voted for the bill, while all Republicans were unified in opposition. But the issue with the bill isn’t really about Sunday hunting. The problem with the proposal is it violates the U.S. Constitution.
