New York Outdoor News contributing writer Charles Witek of West Babylon, (Long Island), was honored with the M. Paul Keesler New York Outdoor Citizen Award June 1, 2024 when the New York State Outdoor Writers Association held its annual conference in Oswego May 30-June 2.
The award is presented to an individual or organization that has effectively raised the public’s awareness of outdoor recreational opportunities and conservation issues in New York State.
