Aggressive black bear euthanized in Vermont

The Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department euthanized an aggressive bear Memorial Day weekend in Underhill, in northern Vermont, after the bear’s behavior was judged a risk to public safety.
Wildlife responded to a homeowner’s call on May 24 in Underhill, which is located approximately 20 miles west of Burlington.
