Christopher Barrett, 19, of Mohnton, Pa., boated a 2-pound, 1-ounce white perch April 14, 2024, to best the previous Pennsylvania record – also caught on the Delaware River, in 2008 – by 5 ounces, according to the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission, which made the feat official earlier this month.
