Imagine a Northwoods lake with crystal-clear water, almost 15 miles of undeveloped shoreline and a varied fishery that includes everything from smallmouth bass to walleyes to muskies to brown and lake trout.
One of those lakes can be found less than five miles from Woodruff in the Northern Highland/American Legion State Forest.
