Fish, wildlife rule changes face scrutiny in Wisconsin

Natural Resources Board (NRB) members learned the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will examine 11 DNR questions and 31 Conservation Congress questions that were approved by citizens at the spring meetings this past April.
The DNR fisheries bureau asked seven advisory questions in April and, according to Justine Hasz, DNR fisheries chief, DNR personnel are now discussing the results on each question and could bring back the proposals on the 2025 spring hearings as proposed rule changes.
