A Q&A with Kelly Straka, the Minnesota DNR’s new fish and wildlife director

Kelly Straka (pronounced STRAW-ka), 45, most recently the DNR’s Wildlife Section manager, began a new role July 4 – that of director of the Division of Fish and Wildlife.
Outdoor News recently compiled a list of questions for the new director as a means to get to know her, and also to obtain updates on pertinent issues within the division. Below, you’ll find Straka’s responses, edited for space considerations.
