Grand times fishing can be had on Michigan’s Grand River

The Grand River is Michigan’s longest river at 256 miles. Other than below the 6th Street Dam in Grand Rapids, it doesn’t see much fishing pressure, especially in the summer months.
Once it enters southwestern Ingham County, it transforms into a classic rock-infested smallmouth river. Beginning in Eaton though Clinton, Ionia and Kent counties, the Grand River is smallmouth heaven.
