Within the upper echelon of Ohio’s finest saugeye and smallmouth bass lakes is 2,310-acre Piedmont Lake, according to the DNR Division of Wildlife.
Piedmont lies within Ohio’s Wildlife District 4 and spreads across Guernsey, Belmont, and Harrison counties. The lake is stocked every May with 100 saugeye fingerlings per surface acre. When the fingerlings are introduced to their new home, they are between one and three inches long.
