Lake Superior lake trout, ciscoes, whitefish in good shape, Wisconsin DNR says
Published: , in Outdoor News
The Wisconsin Natural Resources Board (NRB) approved an emergency order at its Oct. 23 meeting updating cisco and lake trout quotas on Lake Superior.
The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) updates the annual assessments of Lake Superior fish stocks and fishing quotas every two to three years and the current emergency rule ended in October. This emergency rule will fill the gap until a permanent rule is brought to the board in December to take effect this coming spring.
