Leesville Wildlife Area in Ohio opened for bids on drilling

Sixty-two and a half acres at Leesville State Wildlife Area in Carroll County, Ohio, are open to bids from oil and gas drilling companies, following action taken by the state oil and gas land management commission on Oct. 21.
A decision involving three other parcels totaling 884 acres at Salt Fork State Park is on hold until the next commission meeting as members weigh the pros and cons of drilling there.
