Each year, an average of 338,654 deer are taken by Pennsylvania hunters with a bow, crossbow, muzzleloader, rifle, or pistol. Unfortunately, there are many more deer lost due to a bevy of reasons, including poor shot placement, deer movement, tree limbs, and buck fever.
These can happen to anyone and are an unfortunate part of hunting. Losing a deer, however, doesn’t have to be as commonplace anymore.
