New York’s sponsored pheasant hunt opportunities continue through early January

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation is continuing to accept applications to host Sponsored Pheasant Hunts through Jan. 10, 2025.
Sponsored pheasant hunts can be hosted at any point during an open pheasant season. Although these hunts have historically been offered during youth hunt weekends and prior to firearms deer seasons, the pheasant season is very long and there is ample opportunity for late season sponsored hunts.
