Access improvements made in New York’s Moose River Plains Wild Forest

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has completed two access improvement projects in the Moose River Plains Wild Forest, in the Adirondacks.
The improvements enhance access to both Helldiver and Mitchell ponds in the unit, which is popular with outdoor recreationists year-round, including hunters, campers and snowmobilers.
