I’m trying not to let a sore back or the fact that I’ve yet to harvest a deer despite many days of serious effort affect my mood, and I don’t think it has.
But when I saw the DEC’s press release on the adoption of regulations that allow license-issuing agents to “recover costs associated with printing and mailing paper sporting licenses and other items” sold through the state’s Automated Licensing System, I rolled my eyes.
