Public land solar farm plan stalled in Michigan

A controversial proposal that the Michigan Department of Natural Resources was considering to lease some 400 acres of forest land in Otsego County for the development of a solar farm has been stalled, but it isn’t necessarily dead.
The proposal, which would have placed a solar farm near another bigger proposed project on private land, was submitted by RWE Clean Energy.
