More than 200 hunters, anglers, landowners, legislators, local business owners, and state biologists attended the Habitat and Hunting Access Summit at Bismarck State College on Dec. 17. The goal of the meeting, hosted by the North Dakota Game and Fish Department, was to raise awareness about the need for more wildlife habitat in North Dakota.
Newly elected North Dakota Gov. Kelly Armstrong kicked off the meeting by describing himself as an avid deer and bird hunter.
