Cornell study finds contaminants common in northeast waterfowl

If you are an avid waterfowler who enjoys a good dinner of roast duck or goose, you might want to know about a recent study conducted by Cornell University in New York.
Working in collaboration with the state Department of Environmental Conservation, Cornell researchers tested five species of popular waterfowl in the northeast Atlantic Flyway, and reported finding contaminants in every sample, chemicals that could impact the health of both the birds and the hunters and others who consume them.
