Two New Yorkers inducted into NWTF Hall of Fame
Published: , in Outdoor News
Two of the three inductees this year into the National Wild Turkey Federation’s Grand National Calling Championships Hall of Fame are natives of New York.
One – Ernie Calandrelli – was part of the early days of the NWTF, barnstorming across the country with a longtime friend and fellow Hall of Famer (Paul Butski) to compete in calling competitions.
The other – Jim Pollard – is generally regarded as one of the finest turkey callers in history, with a competitive resume to support that label.
