USFWS suggests eating these invasives to help protect native wildlife

The Illinois DNR and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service have for years encouraged the eating of invasive carp – even giving the fish a new name (copi).
Now the USFWS is going a step further, pointing to fried snakehead, broiled nutria, and roasted feral pig as “tasty eating.”
