A shortened early teal season and an increased pintail daily bag limit are the two major changes proposed for the 2025-26 waterfowl season in Michigan
The Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Division submitted its proposal for this year’s season to the state Natural Resources Commission at the March 13 NRC meeting in Grand Rapids. The proposal is available for public comment and review through the Commission’s April 10 meeting at Lansing Community College West Campus, at which time the proposal will be up for NRC action.
