When Minnesota’s spring turkey season begins on April 16, hunters should expect much of what they experienced a year ago – good bird numbers, unpredictable turkey behavior, and similarly unpredictable spring weather, officials say.
But will it be another record-breaker? A year ago, the 16,700 toms taken during the spring hunt represented the highest harvest of the modern era.
