Recent donations add more of Bob Hines’ wildlife artwork to Hayes library in Ohio

When Bob Hines was growing up in the 1910s and 1920s in Fremont, Ohio, he was always tending to animals. His back yard was a wildlife menagerie, and at any given time he’d have turtles, skunks, quail, ducks, fish, crows, and more in his care.
He was naturally inclined to love the outdoors and all things wild, and he spent his free time camping along the Sandusky River, fishing and hunting.
