There are new fishing regulations to brush up on ahead of Minnesota’s opener

With the Minnesota fishing opener Saturday, there are several new statewide and regional regulations that anglers should be mindful of before hitting the water.
Statewide, there is now a continuous, combined total of 30 white bass and yellow bass, a bag limit of four on burbot, and a cisco and whitefish possession limit of 15. There’s a handful of special regulations changing limits on certain species, including crappies.
