Wisconsin Wardens at Work: Trespass call leads to multiple citations

The Green Lake County Sheriff’s Department asked Green Lake County Wisconsin DNR Conservation Warden Brad Latza to assist in a trespassing complaint and then handed the case over to Latza when the evidence showed illegal hunting had likely occurred.
Dodge County DNR Conservation Warden Ryan Mannes assisted Latza because some of the violations likely occurred in his county, too. What started as a case of trespassing for the sheriff’s department to deal with turned out to be much more complicated and involved illegal hunting going back several years.
